A/N: My very first drabble. I’m still not entirely sure what it means, and I couldn’t seem to get it quite right. When I wrote this I had a Gene in my head who was near demented with anguish and it really hurt. Previously posted to Lifein1973; just bringing my journal up to date.

Alone

They sit alone, these two; alone.

Moving against me, shifting under me, laughing with me.
Hot, cold, light, dark, warm, cool.

Touching me, hard. Holding me, soft.

Miss me, see me, feel me; hear me, tell me, love me.

Reach for me, smile for me, come for me.

Miss me.
