Amazon Fail

I've signed a petition here
This is what I said:
Amazon UK has for a long time been my first, automatic choice for everything from books, CDs and DVDs to electronics and computer accessories. Now I realise that someone at Amazon US thinks they know better than I do what is "decent" or "acceptable" for me to look at.
I know the States is a little behind in these matters, but here in the UK homosexuals have full legal equality. It therefore seems to me that to selectively suppress LGBT material on the feeble excuse that it is "adult" material is against UK law. To equate "homosexual" with "adult, ie too sexually explicit", is to state that it is unacceptable for persons under eighteen to learn about homosexuality.
Come on, Amazon, you really can't get away with that. I won't be ordering anything else from Amazon until I hear some progress on this issue. And I'm sure you realise that once people have found acceptable alternatives they don't come back.
By the way, I'm a boring, middle-aged housewife who identifies as 99% straight.
