I clearly hadn't thought this through...

My OH and I are going to see Green Day tomorrow night (YAY!!!), and because the seats we have aren't very good, I've found someone on a fan forum who has some better ones for sale. I've made the arrangements by PM and text, and now my OH is going to meet the guy this afternoon to collect the tickets.

Only problem is, the guy knows me as DorsetGirl and my OH, er, doesn't. Ohhh ... shit. My OH knows nothing about online life in general, and certainly not mine in particular, and he really doesn't get the whole "screen name" / online persona thing AT ALL. (When he asked me on the phone what the guy's name was, I told him and said "that's just his screen name, I have no idea if it's his real name" and there was this stunned silence.)

Then I was waiting for OH to ask what my screen name was. I now realise, of course, that he has NO IDEA that I even have a screen name.

Like I said, Ohhh ... shit.
