I wouldn't know, they don't let me see any more...

I just got the weekly newsletter emailed from my kid's Primary School. The cover note said "please ignore previous version with typo". Being the red-pen freak that I am, I had a look:

"When we are open and there’s snow on the ground, please send your child with willies."

I am so not going to ask...

Thanks for the link - I had a look at the user_info and simple typos aren't allowed, so I followed the link to [livejournal.com profile] lol_typo and posted there. This little gem totally set me up for the day!

I sent the Head a note back saying I couldn't be sure as they won't let me look any more, but as far as I know they all had them when they went out this morning...

I seriously did, because he's a good bloke with a great sense of humour, and I'm looking forward to reminding him about this one for a long time. He's a huge LOM fan and one of only two people in RL who knows I write fic (although I kind of hope he hasn't actually read any of it...)

Isn't it just? After I posted I realised I wasn't sure whether you use either "willy" or "wellies" in the US!

Nope. It's "willy", like in England.
